It is every citizen's duty to challenge the torment and distress so often caused by local authorities. Quite often, maladministration, abuse of power and injustice within these authorities are simply left uncontested. Even when Councils are brought to task, their own internal investigations simply lack the credibility of an honest, impartial study of those complaints put before them.

Expliquer simplement les enjeux du développement durable et démontrer de façon concrète qu'il est possible d'agir au quotidien.
Le parti pris est d'être grand public, pédagogique sans être trop pointu, tout en restant critique...

We know there are giant thriving country gardens, windswept gardens by the sea with gorgeous and dramatic plants, quaint yards with pockets of gardens, and on and on. And then there are odd, small, almost useless gardens in downtown urban areas across America and, indeed, the world. I have one, my own li'l victory garden, and I need all the help I can get.

For many years I have been interested in the environment and how I can contribute to lessening my impact on it. I am from Sydney, but have lived all over the place - from Sydney and Byron Bay to London and Amsterdam.

Now, I am back home, married with a young son and own a large mortgage in the suburbs of Sydney. My new life challenge is to make my home and life as environmentally friendly as possible. And, hopefully fulfill my dream of having an organic food garden.

Like most first home owners, I don’t have a lot of cash to spend on expensive renovations or big ticket items to make my home green. However, I think with the right information, I can make my house and my family’s lifestyle as environmentally sustainable as possible through simple everyday decisions and actions.

The purpose of this site is to map this journey, and to share my information with others who are interested in the same path or who would also like to share their tips and resources with like-minded others.
